Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused individual to join our practice as an Optometric Technician. In this multifaceted role, you will be an integral part of our daily practice flow. While your primary focus will be conducting patient pre-testing and clinical diagnostic workups, you will also receive cross-training in exam room scribing, optical styling, and basic laboratory operations
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Diagnostics & Intake: Conduct initial patient intakes, record medical histories, and perform routine preliminary testing using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
Clinical Scribing: Assist optometric doctors during examinations by accurately documenting findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans in real time.
Optical Styling & Sales: Guide patients through our optical gallery, offering professional recommendations on frame selection, lens options, and customized fittings.
Patient Care Coordination: Deliver a seamless, welcoming experience for every patient from check-in through check-out and final eyewear dispensing.
Laboratory & Technical Support: Assist with basic lens edging, frame adjustments, and lab maintenance as needed.
